My work explores the nature of extremes. It has always fascinated me how diametrically opposed forces exist together in uneasy harmony. It’s as though one cannot exist without the other. They compliment and compete often at the same time, creating a wide diversity of intricate complexity. This is particularly evident in erratic and volatile nature of the weather. How it imposes itself on us is the subject of my work.
I use this philosophy in all my work, depicting subjects that exhibit multi-layered facets of structure and complexity that are always in a perpetual state of change.
